The short version: the site is static, the free tools keep their data in your browser, and purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy. The detail is below.
This site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, to serve the site and protect it from abuse. I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages get read. It is cookieless, it does not fingerprint you, and it does not follow you across other sites. I do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
The UTM Builder web tool and the UTM Builder Chrome extension run entirely in your browser. Anything you build, and any recent history they save, stays on your device in the browser's local storage or the extension's local storage. It is never sent to me or to any server. Clearing your browser data, or removing the extension, deletes it.
The extension asks only for the permissions it needs to save your history and show a count on its icon. It does not read the pages you browse, and it does not transmit your data anywhere.
Payments and downloads are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which is the merchant of record for these products. When you buy or download something, Lemon Squeezy collects the information needed to process the order and deliver the file, under its own privacy policy. I receive limited order details, such as your name, email, the product, and your country for tax. I use that only to fulfill the order and answer questions about it.
If you write to hello@michaelurquidi.com, your message reaches my inbox through Cloudflare Email Routing, and I use it to reply. I do not add you to any mailing list unless you ask.
I do not sell your data. I do not run ad networks on this site. I do not build advertising profiles about you.
You can clear the tools' local data at any time from your browser. For anything I personally hold, such as an email you sent or a question about an order, write to hello@michaelurquidi.com to ask what I have or to have it removed.
This site is meant for marketing professionals and is not directed at children.
